Position: BMC ADDM Consultant

Location: Houston, TX

Duration: 6+ Months

Mandatory Skills:

ADDM Appliance 9.0, 10.0

BMC Remedy

ADDM  Upgrade

Requisition Details:

End to end implementation knowledge of ADDM Appliance 9.0, 10.0 

• Troubleshoot weekly discovery failures Password issues, WMI failures, connectivity problems

• Build basic and advance queries to customize enhance reporting

• Reconciliation activity to ensure completeness of data

• Responsible to design and review the ADDM infrastructure while scope expansion

• Write TPLs Technology Pattern Language to enhance discovery data quality is a must

• Develop scripts to build application relationship Application modelling

• Supporting upgrades of BMC ADDM and integrations into BMC Remedy Atrium CMDB

• Provide support documentations and checklist

• Experience in Backup & Restore

• Monitor appliance health

• Experience in ADDM  Upgrade

• Manage ADDM-CMDB integration

• Experience with BMC ADDM 9.x, 10.x BMC Atrium Discovery and Dependency Mapping  is a must

• Experience in Shell scripting skills, Regular expressions, XML editing

• Excellent Oval & written communication skills

• Excellent Team Player

• Implementation and administration knowledge on Truesight

• Design architecture for Truesight component

• Expertise on MRL rules

• Experience in Data tables and Event Management Framework (EMF)

• Expertise in integration with SCOM using Seamless Connector

• Knowledge of Service Impact Manager (SIM). To be able to design service models

• Knowledge of Reporting Engine configuration and reporting architecture in integration with BMC Analytics Tool

• Configuration of multiple BPPM cells in High Availability (HA)

• Integration knowledge using SNMP Traps and MSend is a MUST

• 4-6 years' experience in Implementation, Configuration & troubleshooting BMC Proactive Net Performance Manager

• Integration of BPPM with third party monitoring tools like HP NNM, SCOM, Tivoli, CA etc.

• Integration of BPPM with Service Desk tools like Remedy, HP, CA etc.

• Knowledge on VB scripting and Perl scripting 

• Knowledge of MSEND and SNMP integration of BPPM with other tools.
