Job Responsibilities

·         Design and implement numerous projects across the organization involving a Java based Service Oriented Architecture solution in support of numerous ancillary projects;

·         Work with Business Analysts to clarify system requirements;

·         Implement design using Java frameworks and existing SOA architecture and thoroughly unit test implementation;

·         Participate in JAD sessions;

·         Develop prototypes and/or test scenarios, where appropriate;

·         Deliver project implementation to specified standards and following all methodology and coding guidelines;

·         Participate in testing, delivery and initial support of projects to ensure a successful hand-off to support staff;

·         Recommend development process improvements to IT management.

 

Job Requirement

·         Experience in Java development, design and deployment (10+ years);

·         Experience developing enterprise software using J2EE technologies using SOA models (7+ years);

·         Experience with Java 1.8;

·         Experience with SQL relational database design;

·         Experience with development using Angular-js, (Version 2 & above), Node.js, Struts, jsp, Spring (4.0 version), Hibernate (4.0 version) and Java Micro services;

·         Experience with JBOSS and HornetQ;

·         Experience with system integration technologies such as Web Services using JAX-WS, Rest Services, SOAP, XML / XSD / XSLT;

·         Experience with build tools like gradle, git, Jenkins for continuous integration and jcron and spring job schedulers;

·         Experience in JMS queues;

·         Experience developing test suite in either spring test suite or junit test. Karma / Jasmine testing suite for web unit test case for angular js;

·         Experience with caching mechanism either H2 in-memory DB / Infnispan / Ehcache / Oracle Coherence;

·         Experience in development in UNIX (Solaris) (preferred);

·         Experience with High-volume transactional processing, Oracle, J2EE, EAI (preferred);

·         Experience implementing in a 24/7/365 development environment (preferred);

·         Experience with Oracle 11g & 12g (preferred);

·         Experience with government and/or tolling industry (preferred);

·         Sun Certifications in J2EE / Java (preferred);

·         Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience, degree in Computer Sciences preferred.
