Role

·         Database administrator/system administrator

·         SQL Server database experience,

·         Some Oracle experience.

·         Experience in municipal Permitting or Land Management systems.

·         This person will be dedicated to a new system implementation, and will be doing all aspects of SQL Server database development and data ETL work

Skills

·         Thorough knowledge of the principles, methods, and practices of systems analysis and design

·         Database development and administration, computer programming, and documentation techniques

·         Good knowledge of industry-standard enterprise software and related systems

·         Good knowledge of municipal government functions

·         Good knowledge of effective leadership and supervisory skills

·         Ability to perceive the management information needs of users and develop appropriate database structures and systems that fulfill those needs

·         Ability to analyze problems, interpret, and report solutions

·         Ability to manage enterprise level projects

·         Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing

·         Ability to establish and maintain effective business relationships

Qualifications

·         Four Year College Degree

·         Skills listed (in minimum) AND

·         At least five years of progressively responsible information technology experience using a relational database system such as Microsoft SQL Serverand/or Oracle, some of which must have been at the level equivalent to a Senior Computer Programmer Analyst, Database Developer or Database Administrator.

·         Experience using Tidemark Advantage, Tyler EnerGov, Designer, System Utilities, Import Export, Cashier and Batch  and Crystal Reports software.

·         Experience coding PL/SQL queries. 

·         Experience with screen design/layout software and with software programming. 

·         Leadership experience managing medium to large-scale database application.

Should have deep knowledge and experience in Advanced Python for programming and scripting
Should have deep knowledge and experience in Angular JS and Amazon Web Services
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Azure
Should have good communication skills
Should have good analytical skills
