Role: Database Admin (DB2 DBA)

Job Location: Houston, TX

Duration: Long Term Contract

Interview: Telephonic/Skype

 

Must Have:

·         Hands on experience working on DB2 V10.5 LUW (UDB). Preferably Linux and Vmware. (Not mainframe DB2 Z/OS).

·         Hands on exp. On DB installation, upgrade, apply fix packs, maintenance & performacne monitoring.Hands on exp. On Database design tools.

·         Preferably Embarcadero Data Architect.

·         Experience on HADR setup.

·         Experience on optim infosphere tools.

·         TDM, Guardium, S-gate & OPM."Experience on ETL.Experience on Data studio.

·         Pref. V 4.1.1Experience on change management process.

·         Pref. Jazz.Experience on document control process. Pref.

·         SVN.Experience on automatic scheduling on DB activities.Experience on unix shell scripting related to DB activities.

·         Authentication & authorization setup.Knowledge on complex SQL, stored procedure, UDT, trigger, views etc.
