Job Title -                           SAP BW Developer

Required Skills -

 

•             A minimum of 10+ years of large global data warehouse projects.

•             A minimum 5+ years of experience as an SAP BW data warehouse "Hands-On" Architect; Hands-on development a Must.

•             Experience in developing and managing product hierarchies and related masterdata for business reporting

•             Design, develop, test, and roll-out of enterprise data warehouse and EDW data marts.

•             Strong knowledge of SAP BW architecture, data warehousing concepts, and data integration best practices

•             Must have very strong demonstrated knowledge of SAP BW on HANA working experience in HANA optimized modeling.

•             Strong Experience in Performance Tuning and Query Optimization.

•             Ability to drive the HANA support process and ensure compliance of project standards and deliverables

•             Ability to create and manage physical models to support Enterprise Data Warehouse domains that include Operational Data Stores, Staging, Integrated EDW, Data Mart, Business, Reference/Master Data and Extract Transform Load (ETL) environments.

•             Ability to develop physical, conceptual and logical modeling standards and strategies.

•             Ability to partner with business units, product owners, and technology stakeholders to translate potential data-driven ideas into fully developed data and analytic solutions.

•             Ability to work with business units to scope and quantify new data-driven product concepts. 

•             Creates technical specifications for data, reporting, and analytic solutions based on business needs

•             Team Player, pro-active, good communication and influencing skills

 

Additional: 

•             Exposure to Agile methodology; Agile certifications is a strong plus.

•             Knowledge in SAP HANA advanced features as it relates to BW on HANA

•             Experience in using SAP BODS (Business Objects Data Services), SLT and SDA (Smart Data Access).
