Position: Senior Java Developer

Duration: 1 year +

Location: White plains, CT, Westchester, NY

 

Only local candidates

 

Must have extensive US banking experience.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

 

Responsibilities:

• Participate in the analysis and design of applications with the System Architect and Business Users, including business model, security model, and business components.
• Translate business model and user requirements into software specifications.
• Make recommendations for the development of new code and/or reuse of existing code.
• Deliver documentation, such as High Level Architecture, and Low Level Design Documents during various stages of the project.
• Support testing, such as Unit testing, SIT, and UAT.

 

Skills Required:

• 7+ years of experience working in large/complex IT architecture environments as a solution or application architect on large scale development projects.
• Proven working knowledge of Object Orientated Programming concepts, Java, J2EE, JSF, Tomcat, Spring, Web Services, Oracle and other related technologies.
• Strong analysis and design skills, including requirements analysis, Object Orientated design patterns, and UML.
• Ability to interact with both Business and Technology colleagues.
• Experience within Financial Services, preferably within Wealth Management.
• Superb communication and analytical skills.
