INFORMATICA SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR

 

Seeking an Informatica Systems Administrator who has strong experience in maintaining a high availability Informatica platform in a Windows environment. They will manage and maintain server software, participate in upgrades through Fix Packs, EBFs and new versions. They will manage and maintain source and target connections for database, Power Exchange, FTP and File connections. They will manage and act as a primary contact for Informatica support as issues arise. They will provide support to the release management team for code deployments. Act as Informatica environment gatekeeper looking out for best interest of overall Informatica Environment in terms of stability and functionality across all projects.

Responsibilities:

• Maintaining high availability of Informatica platform in Dev, Test and Production environments
• Day to day administration activities like user creation, folder creation, configuring DB connections etc.
• Capacity planning and on-going monitoring (e.g. CPU, Memory, etc.) to proactively increase capacity as needed
• Configuring and maintaining servers with multiple nodes
• Manage Extraction maps, Capture Registration maps and Data maps for CDC
• Independent troubleshooting and root cause analysis. Platform issue resolution
• Document System Administration practices
• Training and mentoring of new Informatica System Administrators
• To be an Advocate to Development team with standards and features of Informatica
• Work as part of an agile team to support the Data Foundation project as required

Required Skill Set:

• 8 plus years with hands on experience as Informatica Administrator
• 3 to 4 years upgrade experience starting 8.6 till the current 10.1
• Strong experience in Informatica v9.5 or higher Admin and Support, including Power Center, Power Exchange, CDC, IDQ and Address Doctor and Data Quality
• Power Exchange connector configuration and maintenance experience
• Strong Windows 2012
• Scheduler experience of CA7 desirable
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Java development and support highly desired
• Knowledge of Mulesoft desired
