Job Description, Required Skills, Education, Experience:
The split between development and administration type activities is 40/60 (40% development, 60% administration)
This individual who fills this position will have the following responsibilities:
Help maintain, refresh and administer user access in multiple sandboxes in 2 Organizations (Retail and Institutional)
Work on Admin items on Configuration changes – including Profile Updates
Manage ongoing monthly and weekly data loads to Salesforce
Manage a quarterly sandbox audit process (internal process)
Work on the testing and delivery of New Packages for Salesforce for Outlook/Install new packages for business in our sandboxes
Manage incident tickets and relationship transfer requests via data load
Take direction on some development projects from more senior, experienced developers – also an opportunity to grow development skills and experience!
these tasks may include:
- Develop and Test SPR/SRs for Maintenance releases
- Develop Implementation Plans
- Deploy Code to Sandboxes and Production
- Develop Test Classes to increase the Code Coverage
Bachelor's Degree required
2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. May lead and direct the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.
Preferred Skills, Education, Experience:
Candidates with the following qualities and experience would fit the bill:
Currently working in a smaller firm doing Salesforce Admin work, such as, data loads, profile changes, who may also be doing some very basic code changes and development. Coding should not be their primary function. Remember, we are looking for someone with 2-4 years of Administrator experience
Great training route for someone who wants to learn more about development within a complex organization
Eager to learn and wants to learn
Be willing to be mentored
Financial services experience is great, but not required
No Senior Developers/Coders
Local candidates preferred for NJ location - this position is not remote and CANNOT site in another TDA location
Straight contract position – 6 months with extension
Excel experience required – data manipulation, converting files to CSV
Good communication skills
First interview will be a webex, 2nd interview will be in-person at the NJ location
