Job Title: Senior Cloud Engineer

Job Location: Raritan, NJ

Duration: 6+Months

Mode of Interview: Phone then Face To Face

 

Description:

The team is highly technical leading a multi-phased cloud transition to AWS and MS Azure. It is essential that the candidate has "hands-on" development experience either on application or sysadmin technology platforms.

The candidate must be able to demonstrate their abilities in setting up servers and application deployment environments.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

✓ Automate management and deployment of applications to the cloud ✓ Hands-on development and testing in multiple system shells and SCM tools ✓ Configure and customize continuous integration environments and processes ✓ Analyze and troubleshoot development and configuration setup of SCM and cloud platforms

REQUIREMENTS:

✓ Bachelor's Degree in Computer/Electrical Engineering or Computer Science (or related field) ✓ Expertise with Windows and/or Linux environments/system administration ✓ In depth experience with [bash / .bat / Powershell] scripting ✓ Hands-on experience with Puppet/Chef (or similar) is mandatory ✓ Experience with Continuous Integration systems like Jenkins (or similar) ✓ Working experience with VMWare and, AWS and/or Azure preferred ✓ Demonstrable knowledge of Python / Ruby / PHP / Perl (and/or other scripting language) ✓ Working experience with source code management in Git / SVN in a collaborative environment ✓ Red Hat or Microsoft and/or other related certifications preferred ✓ Able to produce results week one and proactively communicate progress/obstacles to the team
