Position: Senior iOS Developer

Location: Milwaukee, WI

Duration: 6+ Months

VISA: No Constraints

Rate: $Open/hr on C2C

No # Positions: 2

 

You will be involved in the creation, improvement, and maintenance of an Android and iOS Native Client Platform. You will be responsible for supporting multiple engineering teams across multiple business verticals, as well as providing technical design solutions for emerging technologies and business goals. You will be innovating new design patterns and high-level technical architecture to support an in-house developed modular native framework. You are expected to be an excellent communicator, who is comfortable providing training and mentorship for the engineering organization.

 

Responsibilities:

 

• Develop and maintain Android and iOS Plugins exposing native functionality
• Create engineer-facing reference documentation
• Develop technical specifications for emerging technologies and business goals
• Create tools to improve the development, build, and release processes
• Maintain a high level of knowledge of the ever changing Android and iOS markets
• Coordinate and communicate native plugin development efforts with platform and user interface teams
• Develop and execute unit tests
• Maintain application documentation

 

REQUIRED Technical Skills and Proficiencies:

 

• 4+ years of experience with enterprise software development
• 2+ years of experience with Android and iOS application development
• Strong understanding of internet based technologies and technical concepts, necessary for troubleshooting
• Hands-on experience designing and developing software for large-scale enterprise applications
• 2 years of technical leadership
• Ability to work in a fast paced and ever-changing environment
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences of various levels in the organization
• Excellent analytical, decision-making, problem-solving, team, and time management skills
• Positive outlook, strong work ethic, and responsive to internal and external clients
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent

 

Nice to Have:

 

• Development experience with HTML5
• Experience building frameworks, libraries, and modular architecture
• Experience working with continuous integration
• Experience working with financial services
• Experience with Agile and SCRUM processes
• Exposure to, and understanding of, security audit process
• Demonstrated understanding of security protocols
• Exposure to and understanding of cryptography
