Role - Front-end Developer

Location: Barrington, Illinois

Duration: 6 Months Contract - most likely extended- ideally could go full time

Interview: Must be local- face to face

Ideally- GC OR EAD/GC OR USC

Overview:
Enhance existing web applications used for Company's products.  These are non-embedded applications that involve some math skills (understanding of dB as related to radio, radio applications, and data interpolation).

Skills:

• Proficient with JavaScript (ES6), HTML5, and CSS3 

• Proficient with AngularJS. Experience with both versions 1.x and 2 is preferred 

• Experience with unit test development using Karma and Jasmine 

• Experience building responsive designs 

• Five years of progressive experience in web application development 

• Experience with Gulp, Grunt, Webpack, or SystemJS build systems 

• Experience with the Google Maps API 

• Knowledge of Linux/Unix 

• Proficient with Git and Subversion 

• Proficient with RESTful API standards and best practices 

• Experience with end-to-end testing with Protractor is a plus 

• Experience with Backbone.js is a plus 

• Experience with PHP is a plus 

• Back-end development experience with NodeJS or Python is a plus 

• Experience with Docker is a plus 

• Self-motivated to meet milestones in a rapid development environment 

• Great communication skills, strong work ethic
