Java Developer
Duration: 21 Weeks
Location: Portland,OR
Description Of Services:
1. Java developer with relevant work experience of 7+ years and ability to quickly adapt to fast paced Agile development project. Must possess excellent communication skills and must be a quick learner with organized problem solving and troubleshooting skills. Deep expertise in Java 7 or 8 and especially with building REST services with Jersey API and Dropwizard framework. 2. Subject matter expertise in Web UI development with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and JavaScript APIs/ frameworks - specifically JQuery and AngularJS. Must have excellent troubleshooting skills with Chrome Developer toolbar, including but not limited to debugging, profiling. 3. Extensive experience with JavaScript build, and packaging tools - specifically Grunt, Bower 4. a.) Extensive experience with Linux based development environments - specifically Cent OS, Oracle Virtual Box VM running Cent OS on Windows b.) Extensive experience with Java IDEs specifically IntelliJ IDEA c.) Extensive experience with GIT and GIT based tools - specifically Atlassian Stash, GIT command line 5. Deep expertise with building REST services with Jersey API/ Dropwizard 6. Good understanding of MongoDB, PostgreSQL 7. Good understanding of code analysers for Test driven development 8. Experience with working in short sprints in an aggresive fast paced Agile SCRUM team 9. Ability to work in co-development client teams with fast paced/ time-to-market deadlines 10. Good understanding of Continuous delivery and continuous integration (CI/ CD) - tools and services - specifically Jenkins, Docker, Amazon Elastic Beanstalk
Deliverables:
Deliver user stories by designing and implementing them in an Agile software development model
Acceptance Criteria:
Interview Process -Skype interview -feedback within 24 hours -Technical interview -2 interviews will most likely take place with more senior roles -Written online test (approximately 30-45 minutes). This is will be the first step of the interview process. Offer Process -Will make offer as soon as interview process is completed -Start date most likely will be pushed out to 7/18 -Team will keep contractors engaged from time of offer to start date by calling/emailing.
