JOB TITLE- Front-End Developer

LOCATION- Herndon, VA

DURATION- 6+ Months

Job Description	• Working with a team to create compelling and cutting-edge websites and web applications  • Turning design and user interface mockups into functional websites  • Custom programming and web application development  • Contributing ideas and efforts toward internal projects and working as part of a team to find solutions to various problems (i.e. development platforms, documentation, etc.)
Work Experience	Required Skills: Experience building websites using JS frameworks such as Angular, React Experience building applications using Java Experience in Java based frameworks such as Springboot Experience with Databases such as MySQL and PostGres Experience writing simple shell scripts using UNIX/Linux Experience delivering solutions using Agile delivery practices Independence, willingness to learn and problem-solving skills Ability to handle a fast-paced work environment, deadlines and new challenges Ability to communicate and work well with others Additional Assets: (Preferred) Familiarity with revision control systems such as Git/Github Familiarity in Python based framework such as Flask, Django Familiarity with Amazon Web Services (AWS) Familiarity building applications based on a Microservices based architecture using Docker containers Experience enhancing the performance of high-traffic sites
Education and Training	Bachelor degree in Computer Science or a related field Other similar professional duties maybe assigned as needed Employer will accept a suitable combination of education, training or experience
Project Specific Requirements	• Design and develop UI using JS frameworks  Build applications based on a Microservices based architecture using Docker containers • Knowledge of GIT in command line, highly desired.  • Deployment Support including: deploying code, static files, and/or databases by request to the staging environment, and syncing static files and databases among environments.  • Looking for a great all-around junior-level developer that is capable of managing the pressure of maintaining production systems. • Ability to pass a Government Public Trust Clearance • Good customer facing skills
