Position : Sr. Checkpoint Firewall Engineer
PAY RATE: $70.00 c2c all inclusive

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Immediate need for a back fill that quit today. Here are the details that I have currently. This is currently slated for 6 months plus. There is a Sr. position. Local is ideal. Need is immediate and will interview as soon as the 3rd-4th
MUST HAVE STRONG CHECKPOINT SKILLS and be able to take on work load without hand holding.
REQUIRED:
Strong team-oriented interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively interface with a broad range of internal/external contacts and roles, including end users, vendors and IT-business personnel. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills in a large environment.
Extensive experience in/with:
Design, implementation and support of Checkpoint Firewalls and blades, both open server and appliance. Threat prevention blade including threat emulation Checkpoint Identity awareness and app/control URL filtering (Desired)Implementing and supporting Checkpoint VPN's to multi-vendor termination points. Implementing and supporting Checkpoint Mobile Access blade including endpoint security. Working in large Checkpoint environments managing complex firewall policies. Working knowledge of Network security technologies (e.g. SIEM, DLP, Firewalls, IDS, IPS, application proxies and routing and switching fundamentals. Working knowledge of Network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and the associated TCP/IP network routing protocols and concepts.
Ability to:
Work under stress in emergencies, with the flexibility to handle multiple high-pressure situations simultaneously. Work proactively and independently. Develop and maintain documentation for security systems and procedures.
