Skills Required and Job Description:

MOI:-Telephonic followed by face to face  USC/GC/EAD-GC-Only Need only local candidate  ·         Requires a strong background in architecting large-scale, modular and efficient data backend in database systems such as Redshift and Oracle (Someone with experience working in an AWS environment – so S3, Redshift, EC2, etc.) ·         Will design, build and own all the components of a high volume data-mart end to end in support of business reporting ·         Requires proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, Java or bash scripts to develop robust ETL processes  Required Skills Set: ·  ·         Creating and maintaining processes related to data from disparate systems for the purpose of storing/reporting in the Data Warehouse· ·         Designing jobs using Talend Integration platform or programming languages like Ruby/Python to implement pre-defined business rules and metrics, ensuring scalability and data quality in Data Warehouse processes· ·         Design and develop Data Warehouse Dimensional & Relational Models, multidimensional OLAP cubes, to support high-end, mission critical online analysis· ·         Ability to learn and adapt to continually evolving technologies in the data ecosystem· ·         Provide production support on a rotating basis· ·         4+ years of experience in the BI/DWH field· ·         Experience programming in Ruby/Python· ·         A sound understanding of data structures, common architectural patterns, structured query language (SQL) skills, distributed computing and data warehousing concepts· ·         Understanding or working knowledge of Hadoop related tools· ·         Experience in any of the following: Hive, Pig, Map Reduce, Elastic Search, HBase· ·         Experience working with AWS technology stack - EMR, S3, Data Pipeline, Redshift, Kinesis· Has strong interpersonal communication skills; ·         effectively communicates in verbal and written form· ·         Ability to self-manage tasks and proactive in working with other teams to accomplish them while taking pride and ownership in their work  Nice to have: ·         Data engineering background would be great ·         Knowledge of Tableau ·         BA/BS in related field ·         Data modeling and architecting experience with the ability to develop ETL/ELT ·         Experience in AWS Machine Learning, Data Robot, or other Machine Learning technologies
