Title: Senior Java Developers
Location: Mclean VA
Mode: Contract to Hire or Fulltime
Client: Hexaware//Freddie Mac
Weekend Drive is scheduled this Saturday
Required Skills:
Ø 10 years of Java/J2EE development experience with at least 7 yrs in UNIX environment OR 10 years of VB/.Net development experience.
Ø 3+ years of UNIX shell scripting or PERL experience
Ø 5+ years of WebLogic application development with hands-on deployment experience.
Ø Experience with Apache and Tomcat
Ø At least 2 years of experience with at least one of these databases: UDB, Sybase, SQL Server or Oracle
Ø Experience in complete software development lifecycle.
Ø Good knowledge of database concepts with working knowledge of SQL, Stored Procedures, XQuery and XML Query.
Ø Ability to learn and adopt various technologies (including Commercial-of-the-Shelf products.
Ø Must have good problem solving skills, attention to detail and strong interpersonal skills.
Ø Must have the ability to listen to customers and colleagues; convey ideas effectively; prepare written documentation.
Ø Proactive in nature with customer satisfaction as a primary goal
Ø Hands-on experience with GIT, Jenkins, Artifactory, and TeamForge
Ø Hands-on experience with Build and Deployment tools and languages like ANT, Maven, Shell script, ClearCase
Ø Experience with Docker is a plus
Nice to have Skills:
· 3+ years of C/C++ development experience
· 3-5 years developing and upgrading complex, enterprise-level web applications on the Oracle SOA Suite platform and integrating them with Oracle BPEL ,BPM,OSB
· Experience in application support for database and middleware upgrades and migrations preferred
Job duties:
· Provide development DBA support in distributed databases such as DB2 UDB, Oracle, Sybase and SQL Server
· Management / administration of development and test instances / databases
· Work with Engineering & Operations counterparts and coordinate server/instance/database builds, database refreshes, security implementations and production deployments
· Troubleshooting and problem analysis during development and testing phases
· Provide DBA SME support to a large group of developers and testers
· Troubleshoot application/database issues during development/testing/deployment phases and provide solutions
· Documentation around database procedures, issues and their resolution
