Role: Teradata Architect

Location: New York, NY

Duration: 2 Year Contract

- Experience using Teradata TMON to monitor and manage Teradata RDBMS resource utilization (TASM)

- Creation of business objects including databases, tables and indexes

- End-To-End Unix/Linux-Teradata-ETL

- Unix/Linux-DataStage-Teradata architecture, design and build solutions for BI Data warehouse projects

- Experience in providing complete End-To-End Unix/Linux-DataStage-Netezza or Unix/Linux-Netezza-ETL architecture, design and build solutions for BI Data warehouse project

- Experience in providing complete End-To-End Unix/Linux-DataStage-Oracle or Unix/Linux-Oracle-ETL architecture, design and build solutions for BI Data warehouse projects

- Experience working with SQL Server, Informix DB and DB2/AS400 databases in BI Space

- Experience with business objects and BI though Data Mining

- Establishing and managing end user security procedures, rolls and authorization

- Design, creating and tuning physical database objects (tables, views, indexes) to support normalized and dimensional models. Maintain the referential integrity of the database.

- Complex SQL using Teradata functions, UDFs, macros and stored procedures

- Data Warehouse Metadata concepts, tools and repositories

- Shell scripting, system tuning and troubleshooting on UNIX

- Database recovery and restart procedures is desirable

- Maintain and develop Unix scripts and BTEQ scripts
