JD:

Teradata Utilities (BTEQ) and Unix is important

·         Hands-on experience in ETL development using Bteq or generic SQLs. Knowledge of ETL tools such as Informatica is a plus

·         Ability to convert requirements to ETL code using BTEQ, procedures, etc.

·         Hands-on Experience in using Teradata utilities TPT, TPump,BTEQ,fastload, fastexport and multiload.

·         Good knowledge in Teradata concepts and Logical/physical database design

·         Experience in writing Unix Shell scripting is a must

·         Should have in-depth understanding of DW-BI concepts and dimensional modelling.

·         In-depth knowledge of Performance tuning and optimization to handle and process large volume of data in Teradata

·         Experience in SQL programming (views/store procedures/macros/functions) based on User requirements and architectural guidelines and standards.

·         Should have the capability to understand requirements and convert to design

·         Strong Requirement Elicitation & Analysis skills

·         Ability to coordinate with SMEs, stakeholders, manage timelines, escalation & provide on time status – strong project management skills as well.

·         Excellent Communication Skills

·         Good knowledge and experience on Big Data related technologies is a plus
