Position: Java developer

Location: Minneapolis, MN

Duration: 6-12 Months

Sr. Developer

The senior developer position is a key member of the c360 implementation.  This role will work closely with the source system SMEs, data architecture, development, product owner and the QA teams.  This role will support and enable the move to a data driven organization with a goal of solving complex problems with the use of data.

• Java Spring
• Hibernate
• Strong OO Programming skills
• Mark Logic experience a plus!
• Any experience with Big Data systems a plus (Hadoop, Cloudera, Horton Works)
• Must have Strong Agile skills ability to work in a fast paced Continues integration/Continues delivery environment running 2-week sprints.
• Note: (Will need to attend Mark Logic training and be able to learn this Big Data tool set)

Required skills:

• Over 7 years of experience as application developer
• 5 years' experience in Java, C#, J2EE, Hibernate, Spring
• Strong experience in developing web services using SOAP, REST
• Proven MarkLogic developer & solution design experience
• Extensive database experience – data analysis, understanding of relationships and mapping, Strong SQL and relational DB understanding
• A history of delivering production-quality software for enterprise environments
• Intimate familiarity with XML, XSD and JSON
• Programming experience with xQuery and JavaScript
• Understanding of distributed systems, building web applications, ETL processes and data modeling
• Good knowledge of MarkLogic configurations and Infrastructure
• MarkLogic Security, Triples and Semantic experience is a plus
• Healthcare experience is a plus
