Role:                                   Mobile Architect

Years of Experience:          Around 10 years

Location:                           White Plains NY

Start date:                         ASAP

Hourly rate:                      $80/hr.

 

               

Job Description:

 

Mandatory Skills:

 

1.    Should be able to thoroughly understand application architecture and provide code recommendations.

2.    Database knowledge, from ER diagram to the programming/SQL level for Teradata, Oracle, and DB2.

3.    Java back-end, from architecture (Oracle WebLogic) to programming because you have to review the code and make a suggestion on how to improve it.

4.    iOS programming, primary in Objective-C, and not so much in Swift.

5.    Unix scripts, batch jobs, server configure, etc.

 

Preferred Skills:

 

·         Good client facing communication, i.e. not for a shy person.

·         Be able to work in a fluent environment where ""problems"" and ""solutions"" are not immediately clear.

·         Have good writing skills to explain the technical problem in *short* and clear email

 

Roles and Responsibilities:

 

·         This is a support Architect role and the person needs to be able to bring in improvement around current code base
