Here are the technical skills we are looking for in priority order.

1. AWS experience

2. EMR / Hadoop on AWS

3. Unix

4. Java

5. Python

 

We are looking for an experienced developer that has working knowledge and experience leveraging AWS for analytics. This includes transferring data into AWS and leveraging EMR to process and produce analytics for business consumption. They also must have development experience with Hadoop along with strong Java/Python/Scala skills.
