Java Architect @Austin, TX. Looking for hands on consultant.

 

*         15 years dev experience with Java

*         5 years multi-tier architecture experience – solution Architect

*         2-3  years Tomcat experience à at application level

*         2-3 years distributed caching experience (Redis is a plus)

*         2-3 years of systems integration, particular message based integration

*         Strong LMS domain knowledge, particularly quizzes – Nice to have

*         Knowledge of learning standards, such as LTI, QTI an xAPI – Nice to have

*         Experience with SSO (Oauth, SAML, Open ID Connect)

*         Experience with architecting / designing applications to cloud-scale

*         Experience with deployment of applications to public cloud providers

*         Good working knowledge of RDMS (Oracle a plus)

*         Good working knowledge of NoSQL

*         Experience with source code control systems, such as Git/SVN

*         Good knowledge of unit testing

*         Experience working in Agile environments

*         Containerizing applications would be a plus (Docker specifically)

*         Experience with Continuous integration / CD tools would be a plus
