Senior SFDC Architect will be responsible for designing project solutions with the Force.com platform including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and Marketing Cloud. You will be expected to develop, modify, or update applications used by business units or infrastructure units. Lead, or play lead technical role in development teams' efforts to determine unit needs and business processes that are automated by the application. Assess high level design issues relating to platform, enterprise software, and integrations with other systems.

Sr. SALESFORCE ARCHITECT | Chicago, IL
Consultant will have to be onsite 5 days a week
Start Date: April 1 or close to it
Duration: 12+ months project is very large

KEY JOB FUNCTIONS
· Provide design leadership in large or complex development projects involving application development, migrations, and additions to existing applications. Participate in project meetings with other technical staff and business owners and subject matter experts.
· Assess and develop high level design requirements for project and communicate in writing or in meetings with development team. Assess detailed specifications against design requirements.
· Review application in progress of development to ensure compliance with overall design parameters and corporate development standards. Guide programmers/developers on technical issues.
· Develop or review development of test protocols for testing application before user acceptance. Review test results and direct further development.
· May serve as technical lead, architect, and project lead or principle developer in course of large or complex project.
· May provide, or guide provision of technical support to applications currently in production.
· May mentor or guide work of less experienced programming and development staff.
Qualifications
EDUCATION
· Bachelor's Degree or equivalent required
· Force.com, Certified Developer 401
· Force.com, Certified Administrator 201
All Nice to have Certifications:
· Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator
· Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II
· Salesforce Certified Platform Developer
· Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE
· 8+ years of related experience
SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
· 8-10 Implementations of SDFC
· Experience in designing and developing software components and having a very strong Service Oriented Architecture and integration background.
· Experience in SalesForce (SFDC) CRM with end to end implementation experience.
· SalesForce.com integration experience, including between different business systems as well as working with in
· Expert Knowledge of enterprise systems, CRM, SFA, and ERP such as SAP Integration tools.
· Proficiency in programming using SalesForce SFDC, Force.com, Java, JavaScript, and XML and their use in the development of CRM solutions.
· Strong experience with configuration, customization, programming with APEX APIs, APEX Triggers, and implementing new instances of SalesForce.com from scratch.
· Strong practical deployment knowledge of VisualForce, Flex, Salesforce configurations, Apex classes, APEX Web services, API, AppExchange deployment.
· Ability to define the system landscape, to identify gaps between current and desired end-states, and deliver a CRM solution.
· Additional Salesforce.com experience includes Workflow Alerts and Actions, and Approval Workflow.
· Programming experience with the following languages, J2EE, HTML XML, SQL, Oracle
· At least 4 years' experience in the following areas
o SFDC architecture, Apex, Visual Force, Triggers, Classes
o Integrating with external applications using SOA / ESB technologies
o SalesForce.com web services, WSDL and other integration methods newly introduced in SFDC
o Implementing advanced formulas and workflow rules to enforce business processes
o Agile/ Scrum
o Certified in Salesforce.com including Force.com
