Location                      : Portland - OR
Duration                      : 6+ months Contract

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Experience and Skills Requirements:

•         Typically a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering Management or equivalent work experience in related discipline.

 

•         Strong verbal and written communication skills.  Demonstrated formal presentation skills are a plus.

•         Ability to work effectively in a fast moving IT team environment.

 

•         Preferred 10 – 12 years of experience in progressively more senior roles in an IT integration development or technical support role.

 

•         A minimum of 4 years of experience with SOA, process orchestration and integration solutions

 

•         Experience with Java EE, Web Services, REST services, XML, XSD, XSLT, Oracle and SQL Server

 

•         Experience developing integrations using WebSphere DataPower (MUST HAVE)

 

•         Experience with integration tools like IBM Business Process Manager and Integration Designer (MUST HAVE)

 

•         Experience with messaging frameworks like JMS and MQ

 

•         Experience working with application servers like WAS

 

•         Knowledge of Agile development framework and practices.

 

•         Experience working in a utility industry and understanding of utility industry business processes and regulatory requirements is a plus.

 

•         Experience using source code control tools.
