Job Description:   The Worker performs complex system analysis to complete software test activities for all test phases of a software development project. The Worker analyzes business requirements and develops software specifications.  The Worker will review, analyze, evaluate and develop test plans and scenarios based on business and system requirements to ensure traceability; monitors and performs system testing; and facilitates user acceptance testing.  The Worker coordinates with technical and business project teams to identify and document software defects and works with developers to coordinate defect solutions.  Work is accomplished in a highly collaborative environment.

7         Analyzes business requirements and develops software specifications in coordination with business and technical groups

7         Develops complex test scenarios and test plans; monitors and performs system testing, and facilitates user acceptance testing

7         Participates in and leads various software development reviews and provides advice and assistance to other team members in analysis, design, and test

7         Assists in developing and monitoring project plans and schedules; assists project managers in making assignments and managing project tasks

4         Skill in analyzing problems and identifying effective solutions

4         Thorough knowledge of software development life cycle and project management methodologies.

4         Considerable skill in effective verbal and written communications with other computer professionals and clients.

4         Considerable skill in using a computer with various word processing, spreadsheet and database software.

4         Ability to establish and maintain effective and professional working relationships with others at all times in the course of conducting business

4         Extensive skill in planning and organizing work to meet goals and complete multiple assignments without compromising accuracy.

4         Ability to provide excellent customer service

1         Knowledge and experience in maintenance and support of systems of the Texas Child Support Enforcement System (TXCSES).

1         Knowledge of the Texas Child Support program
