POSITION

DevOps Engineer

Dearborn, MI

6+months

GC, USC, EAD only

 

 

Skills Required:

Cloud automation and tools development 

Applied systems engineering across broad range of data center technologies 

Experience with virtualization strategies and technologies (network, compute, storage) 

Design automation solutions for hosting tenants: standard compute x86 platforms, Pivotal Cloud Foundry, Analytics (Hadoop), High Performance Computing, Mainframe 

Work with multiple emerging programming languages 

Development of modern APIs Experience with emerging web GUI development platforms (AJAX, HTML5, JSON, JQuery, Javascript) 

Strong Cloud operations experience automating processes in large enterprises 

Experience with virtualized environments Experience with Cloud Management Platforms, VMware vRealize suite (vRA, vRO) very desirable 

Understanding of Cloud capacity and inventory tracking requirements 

Expert SQL skills. 

Schema design, SQL programming, and SQL tuning 

Experience configuring systems using Chef, Puppet, Ansibal or other 

Experience with orchestration software such as VMware vRealize suite Analytics background

Education Required:
BS Computer Science/Engineering or related field Will also accept significant, work-related experience
