Job Description:
· Cyber Security domain experience applicable to automotive product development with 9+ years of total experience with 4+ years of exclusive experience in Cyber security
· Solution architect involved in protocols, standards and practices applicable in Automotive Cyber Security
· Familiar with Cyber Security guidebook J3061
· Worked on implementing run time authentication for 3rd party apps for Radio Head sets
· Knowledge of Secure Boot implementation
· Capable of designing Security Access Modules through ports
· Porting of legacy features on to the current product platform
· Hands-on with Android and QNX operating systems
· Worked on implementing Security Module on Hardware and unit testing
Sound knowledge on potential risks with Physical interfaces within the Car
a. Ports - OBD, CD, DVD, USB, Ethernet
b. CAN (Twisted pair)
c. LIN (Single Wire)
d. Flexray (Electrical & Optical)
e. MOST (Optical)
· Android Operating system domain expert (including native services)
· Restricted Read/Write in Flash systems of Andriod based embedded products
· Permission management of Apps after installation
· DRM (Digital Rights Mgmt)
· Capable of front ending at Customer facility and drive the activity with offshore interface
· Effective involvement in defining and crafting best practices in Internet security for service delivery platforms (including machine to machine; server to server and server to vehicle)
· Worked on reviewing Cyber security specifications and taking these requirements through end to end implementation for an Automotive Head unit product
· Implementation of Security layer in Hardware, Operating System and Application
· Expert in areas of Gateway Intrusion detections and Networking Standards
· Contribution in areas of Authentication, Digital Signature in form of high level design, and white papers
· Hands on with vulnerability analysis, end point security, threat assessment and threat modelling with the built product (preferably Infotainment head unit) and involved in technologies like Over the Air.
· Handled Security loophole detection in Security layers via Cloud (SaaS)
· Worked on Role based attributes distribution in System
· Involved with Risk Assessment reviews of Connected cars solutions and Automotive applications in IoT frameworks
Orientation of Standards like,
a. SSL/TLS : Secure Socket Layers - Transport Layer Security
b. AES : Advanced Encryption Standard
c. RSA, SHA : Encryption Algorithms and Digital Signatures
d. WAVE as Wireless Access in Vehicle Standard
