Hi, this is regarding a requirement with one of our client who is looking for consultants with below JD.

Job description

Role: Postgres DBA – Senior consultant

Location: Reston, Virginia USA

Position Type:- FTE(GC/Citizens only)

Need senior resources with Postgres System DBA experience 

Technical Skills:

1. At least five years of experience on working with PostGRE SQL databases

2. Should be able to Install and configure new Server instances

3. Proactively monitor DB for performance issues and suggest improvements

4. Should be able to independently determine the most effective way to increase performance including server configuration changes, or index/query changes

5. Should have good experience in using Profiler traces and other tools to find the most frequently run queries and provide suggestions for optimization.
