Role: Test Engineer

Location: San Jose, VA

Duration: 6 Months Contract

 

80% Ruby-Cucumber other 20% rest compulsory QA skills

 

 

Essential (including minimum exp. required for each skill)

 

·         6+ years proven experience in Software Testing with excellent Analysis skills in deriving the good quality Test Cases, Test Scenarios, Test Data, Test Estimations, Test Execution and Test Automation (using Cucumber-Ruby, Selenium-Ruby)

·         3+ years of actual Test Automation hands on experience using  Cucumber-Ruby over BDD/Selenium-Ruby

·         Must have worked on BDD based agile framework

·         Must be strong in Application Testing (both functional and automation), test requirements analysis, Defect Management, Test Automation and integration testing

·         Exceptional Verbal and written Communication

·         Ability to carry out the tasks independently and drive the other team members

·         Ready to work in collaboration with teams in different time zones on onsite/offshore model

·         Exposure to complete STLC cycle in Agile environment is a must.

·         Test Reporting and co-ordination with client, onsite and offshore teams.

 Desirable

·         Prior Cisco experience

·         Sound Knowledge of SQL preferred advantage

·         Leadership qualities
