Lead Java Developer required in WI

POSITION

Lead Java Developer

Madison ,WI

6+ months

 

Required Skills:
1. 10+ years of Java / JEE development experience, with 4+ years technical leadership experience with enterprise full stack development experience in a large organization.
2. Demonstrated technical lead experience overseeing multiple applications/systems on their projects.  Ideally projects over 10,000+ hours.
3. Must demonstrate work experience in designing / developing applications using Web Services (java).
4. Ability to perform effective code reviews, mentor java developers, and ensure adherence to best practices.

Additional Desired Skills:
1. Excellent communication skills and must work well in a team environment
2. Quick learner/self-starter who demonstrates time management/prioritization
3. Strong problem solving skills, ability to infer from previous examples, willingness to understand how an application is put together.
4. Insurance industry experience
