The role of this position will be:
· Primarily to provide support for metadata and IDQ components of the Informatica platform. Included will the the installation and configuration of each of the components relative to defined specification of the vendor for optimum performance.
· System upgrades and changes (including new releases/bug fixes/troubleshooting of issues).
· Actively support the requests of the user community. (Examples: access requests and security restrictions, job execution).
· Secondary responsibility: to assist in the Power Center and PowerExchange admin activities.
· Support of existing Informatica Admin to augment capacity limitation currently being experienced
Existing Informatica Admin has no additional capacity in support of the platform. Project is underway for the expansion of 2 additional software components of the Informatica platform. These components will require dedicated time and effort for short term project installation/configuration and long term production support. The associated Phoenix project is driven by a global initiative to rewrite the existing enterprise data warehouse in order to provide compatibility with Spain requirements for information.
Note: We are working with Tier-1 vendor requirement.
