JOB DESCRIPTION:
Must have:
10- 12 years of experience with SAP BW in its'' entirety (development, architecture, version 7.0 and above need to have recent experience with 7.4) Strong recent proven experience designing solutions for BW environments (at least 10-12 years) Strong recent experience with SAP BW on HANA Functional knowledge of HANA live (transactional solution for HANA) Strong recent experience designing data models Excellent written and verbal communication to work with client management and guide developers in resolving issues etc
Responsibilities:
This individual in this role will be brought in to understand the BI landscape as it is now and guide the team and leadership into the future state of the BI landscape (leveraging HANA and the use of HANA live The individual in this role will be expected to join the team and understand the environment and the existing landscape of BI but most importantly BW and guide BW into HANA migration, coming up with the future architecture of BW. The BI/BW environment is heavily involved with SAP BW on HANA and this individual is expected to be able to design this solution and architect it by performing data modeling and designs. As a senior Architect this individual will also need to guide the manager of this team and the developers to solutions for any development issues (BO development) live or not and critically think and even get hands on with any development takes if their help is needed. Accomplishment is to build a product not a project and individuals expertise will be utilized to do so along with the BW development team that is currently in place
