Location: Reston, VA

Aspects of the Storage environment and client expectations:
• Lifecycle management end to end – identify, procure, swap out
 • Decom of equipment
 • Brocade and storage
 • Dell chassis for virtual environment
 • Use internal Veritas developed automation tools for Dell chassis or 3PAR
 • Upkeep performance / improvements / multi-tiered 3PAR
 • 2 billion files added to the cluster each month
 • EMC Isilon - Email archival application
 • Data archival services
 • Visibility through reports
 • Use file lock

Resource Attributes:
 • Master Skill in 3PAR and EMC chassis Tuning (10 years high end performance)
 • Experience in High rate of change environments
 • Millions of files written daily/Billions Monthly
 • 1PB quarterly data growth
 • Experience in Thread tuning
 • Experience in Flashcash / SSD / HDDrive configurations 
  • Experience in Brocade SAN fabric configuration and troubleshooting
  • 6 to 12 month duration
  • Direct report to Customer IT staff
  • 17 cluster storage environments
  • Experience in providing improvement recommendations 

Delivery: Storage Management Services:
Storage: Storage - SAN Storage: HP 3PAR
Infrastructure upgrade (midrange, storage,
Back-up and recovery)
Storage - Archiving: EMC Isilon
Storage rehosting and/or migration
