Job Description

:

In this position, the candidate will be performing media integration for Content protection, Video Conference (webRTC), Display and Virtual Reality technologies for Windows platform. The goal is to develop and execute test cases, debug failures and and writing python scripts for post processing results . The candidate will also be expected to develop/maintain automation frameworks. Resolve all software and platform related issues.

• Prior experience integrating, validating and debugging solutions to solve systems engineering challenges relevant to one or more of the following areas Media pipeline, Video subsystem, Display subsystem and Networking subsystem etc. 
• Test Automation skills and solid scripting skills
• Proficient with Windows OS internals, multimedia frameworks such as Media Foundation and DirectShow. 
• Experience with or knowledge of various DRM schemes (OMA, PlayReady, Widevine)
• Demonstrated software engineering practices such as code coverage, test coverage and test case development 
• Ability to analyze, debug and root cause problems
• Demonstrated ability to make significant contributions to the validation plan

 

Validation experience in below items:

Knowledge in Windows Media pipeline, Video subsystem, Display subsystem .

• Test Automation skills and solid scripting skills
  • Knowledge in multimedia frameworks such as Media Foundation and DirectShow. 
  • Experience with or knowledge of various DRM schemes (OMA, PlayReady, Widevine)
  • Demonstrated software engineering practices with test coverage and test case development 
  • Ability to analyze, root cause problems
