Job Description
· The Senior Software Engineer will apply engineering expertise in the design and build of world class enterprise systems.
· The individual has a demonstrated history, and passion for, solving complex technical challenges with a focus on efficiency and performance.
· The candidate will design and develop new software products or major enhancements to existing software independently and collaborate with teams of third party on-shore and offshore resources for development of highly complex software systems.
· Overall experience in designing technical solutions for web, mobile and cloud based systems using an agile, iterative approach is critical.
· Expertise in developing technical solutions within a service-oriented architecture using web services and API is also required.
Must Have
· Minimum of 5-8 years developing with Java/J2EE at senior level
· Experience implementing technical specification and requirements framework with end-to-end traceability to business requirements, enterprise architecture approach (AAD) and through testing and validation
· Experience with application integration – SOA/ESB/ODM/Orchestration
· DevOps experience
· Experience with application servers Tomcat/WebSphere
· Knowledge and understanding of project/application delivery process
Job Responsibilities
· Will act as a full stack java developer, focusing more on backend coding
· Will be working on the web applications for the owners of the vacation homes (where they make reservations, search availability, etc.)
· Leading the advancement of DevOps capabilities
· Responsible for the system design, software development, and ensuring the quality of application development work products
Plusses
· Experience working on the Hybris (SAP) platform
· Waterfall/Agile SDLC
· Experience designing and implementing Business Rules Engine (BRE) and Operational Data Management (ODM) Software
· Experience with common SDLC tools (GlassFish, Maven, Jenkins etc.)
· Experience implementing IBM InfoSphere Master Data Management solutions
