Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science or Business Degree or related field.
- 10+ years' in a Project Management role or supporting PMO organizations.
- PMP Certified.
- Experienced managing projects related to ERP implementations, enterprise system integration, operations and business process optimization.
- Project Management experience in a pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry preferred.
- Familiarity with Oracle EBS, Agile PLM, Syncade MES systems is highly desirable.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Responsible for overall project management and ability to drive activities.
- Manages Pharma/supply chain Development projects interacting with multiple cross functional teams.
- Uses Microsoft Project Management Software and other PM Methodology tools and templates to keep projects on critical path.
- GANTT chart tracked progress of project activities, ensure key development milestones are achieved, and ensure program proceeds based on the agreed upon timeline.
- Monitors performance and recommends scope, schedule, cost or resource adjustments; connects short-term demands to long-term implications, in alignment with the supporting business case.
- Prioritizes multiple tasks while meeting deadlines; communicates project status (health, forecast, issues, risks, etc.) to stakeholders.
- Effectively balances competing project constraints including but not limited to scope, quality, schedule, funding, budget, resources, and risk, to manage project success.
- Connects project objectives to broader organizational goals.
- Escalates issues and risks to management in clear concise manner.
- Establishes and implements project management processes and methodologies for product development activities and facility expansion. Includes project planning, resource planning, project scheduling and leading teams to accomplish project goals.
- Manages risks, issues and project change control (scope, schedule, cost and quality).
- Anticipate project risks and develop mitigation strategies/plans for more complex projects
- Provide leadership to evaluate and resolve barriers to team/project progress.
- Resolve internal and external team conflict to ensure adherence to project schedule.
- Supports Project Management Office to create/develop standards and reporting for the PMO.
Required Skills:
- Proven ability to quickly earn the trust of sponsors and key stakeholders; mobilize and motivate teams.
- Solid business and technical acumen; versatile team player that is comfortable under pressure
- Adaptable and flexible in global environments.
- Strong analytical, problem solving, critical thinking, organizational, and financial planning skills.
- Must have proficiency with MS Project and timeline preparation and maintenance.
- Demonstrated leadership capability.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with financial analysis and recommendations on cost savings.
- Organized, results-oriented, and strategic thinker.
- Candidate must possess excellent team building, training and facilitation skills.
- Must have the ability to communicate ideas clearly and concisely to management.
- Must be able to prioritize and balance multiple projects and priorities.
- Must have strong MSP, Visio, Excel (pivot tables), PowerPoint and SharePoint Skills.
