Job Overview: · The candidate will be a senior reporting and visualization architect who will be an expert in Business Objects R4 Universe Development and an excellent hands-on experience with SQL. · Should have Wealth Management experience and exposure to Business Objects environments with large scale self-serve reporting application. · Universe development is a MUST. · The candidate should have Data Warehouse environment exposure that includes working with dimensional models. · Queries in Business Objects will heavily involve working with point in time queries to report historical data, so ability to handle SCD type 2 or Type 3 dimensions is a required skill. · Should have hands-on knowledge in any one of the dashboarding tools - Qlikview or Tableau. This person should be conversant with both direct data access and offline data processing in Tableau. The person should have handled at least one or two major dashboard projects till completion · This will be a client facing role and the candidate will be leading design with teams at onshore and offshore · Business Objects XI – R3 / R4 Universe Design and Development · Qlikview OR Tableau – Design and development. · Databases – warehouse specific RDBMS – DB2 / Teradata · Database language – SQL – must Desirable: · Handing Historical data query requirements – in pure SQL and also able to set up the same in Business Objects. · BO Universes should be able to handle point-in-time querying. Responsibilities: The person will be leading the initiatives in the Business Objects Universe Design, Development Design and support of some of the large self-serve Universes. He/She will be also responsible for Design and development dashboards in either Qlikview or Tableau. This position is a client facing role where the successful candidate will be part of strategic design discussions. | |
