Position Title: Java Developer

Location: New York City NY

Duration: 12 Months

Detailed Job Description

Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline

• At least 5 years of experience developing large scale, mission critical and high availability REST APIs in the cloud

• Demonstrable experience with full Java technology stack, including but not limited to: Java, JPA, Spring Framework, Hibernate or Activiti BPM.

• Ability to work with the architects to reduce conceptual architectures to Enterprise Integration and to communicate and document solutions to development team

• Knowledge of SOAP using xml is beneficial

• Experience developing software using Agile Software Development practices and/or TDD.

• Knowledge of online payment systems is a plus

• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with diverse and distributed product teams in an agile environment.  Must be able to work with an offshore development team

 

Mandate/Must skills required:

Java, JPA, Spring, Hibernate or Activiti BPM, REST API, SOAP, XML, Agile
