JOB DESCRIPTION:-

The Information Security Analyst will utilize established Identity and Access Management processes and tools to protect information assets. Responsibilities will include access management, audit, and research and remediation of issues. The Analyst is expected to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Primary administrator for SE2's Identity and Access Management security processes and procedures. Grant and verify all applicable access entitlements.

• Administer and monitor SE2's perimeter security including Firewalls, Remote Access appliances and vulnerability scanning.

• Administer and monitor SE2's endpoint security infrastructure including anti-virus, internet content filtering and security patching.

• Recommend standards, conventions, controls, policies and procedures in all areas of expertise.

• Update process documentation as required.

Required Qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field

• Alternatively, equivalent work experience in IT Security or Infrastructure support

• Security related certifications (Security+, CeH, etc) preferred.

• Strong understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM) best practices

• Experience with multiple network security platforms, firewalls, virus scanners and intrusion detection systems.

• Understanding of industry standards regarding network and access control security procedures.

• Ability to work independently in troubleshooting problems and researching capabilities of current or proposed products.

• Strong service orientation.

• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to interpret business strategy and align to appropriate security enhancements to achieve business enablement.

• Ability to translate security requirements into business risks and impacts.

• Team player able to work effectively at all levels of an organization with the ability to influence others to move toward consensus.

• Good understanding & experience applying NIST, ISO, and ITIL frameworks.

• Understanding of Local (Wired & Wireless) and wide area networks

• A good understanding of Network Security, Firewalls, Intrusion Detection and Prevention, AVS, VLANS

Ability to work and travel independently and use general office equipment
