Position:          Senior Developer

Location:         Woonsocket, RI
Duration:        12 Month

Technical/Functional Skills :-

- Progressive work experience in Architecture, Design, Development, Deployment & entire lifecycle project management for Enterprise Applications

- Informatica

- Unix

- Strong knowledge of UML concepts – use case views, component diagrams, deployment views, sequence diagrams, activity diagram, swim line views

- Deeper understanding of nonfunctional requirements or abilities and its impact on application design & development

o Scalability, Extensibility, Reliability, Availability

- Experience in designing and optimizing ETL, Informatica, PL/SQL and other batches.

- Experience in optimizing schedule of batch data processing jobs and one shots.

- Experience working with Oracle10g+ databases, operational data stores, stored procedures

- Experience in UML and batch job design patterns

- Experience in batch performance tuning

- Skills in Database Concepts primarily Oracle PL/SQL

- Exposed to Basic Database Design, Sql Queries

- Deep knowledge about best coding & design practices and understand ways to write proficient & performance oriented code

- Should be able to demonstrate a constant and quick learning ability and should be flexible to adapt to the new developing technologies.

- Excellent problem solving skills and the ability to handle pressure situations

 

Roles and responsibility:-

 

He/she is involved in coding, testing, implementing, debugging and documenting the complex programs.

He/she is involved in creating proper technical documentation in the work assignments.

He/she makes efforts to understand the business needs and designs programs and systems that match the complex business requirements and records all the specifications that are involved in the development and coding process.

He/she ensures that all the standard requirements have been met and is involved in performing the technical analysis.

He/she is responsible for assisting the project manager by compiling information from the current systems, analyzing the program requirements and ensuring that it meets the specified time requirements.

He/she resolves moderate problems associated with the designed programs
