Looking JAVA TALEND Developer

Location: Brentwood, TN

Duration: 6 -12 months +

Interview Mode: Phone and Skype

 

 

Their day-to-day work is going to be primarily writing Talend jobs and extending Talend (which is all Java code), if needed.

 

Must Have:

5+ (or Strong) years Core Java experience

5+ (or Very Strong) years SQL experience - Oracle analytic functions are helpful, performance tuning, transactions, etc.

·         Experience with Talend is a huge plus

Must know how to think about processes from a SET BASED PERSPECTIVE (think bulk database operations, rather than sequential, row by row, operations.

Good experience with Linux based operating systems, including writing bash scripts, and important/useful commands

Experience with Eclipse Based Tools

Strong debugging/troubleshooting skills.

 

Nice to Have :

·         Experience with any ETL/ELT tool is a plus

·         Knowledge on IBM's Message Broker technologies is a plus.

·         Experience with IBM's DataStage is good to know but only required for reading/fixing/rewriting-in-a-new-tool

·         Good Experience with XML technologies, including XSLT 1.0 and XSLT 2.0

·         Experience with SVN and GIT
