Position: PowerBuilder Developer
Location: Albany, NY 12207
Duration: 24 Months

 
Daily Work Tasks:
·         Gather business requirements
·         Document requirements and solutions
·         Write technical specifications
·         Code, test, and implement software modules
·         Review code and test results of other programmers
·         Create physical database work tables and temporary tables and indexes
·         Coordinate and conduct Unit, System and Stress testing
·         Helpdesk Tickets (Day to Day questions and issues).
·         Small Changes requested from the Business Users.
 
Job Description:
·         At least 84 months experience writing PowerBuilder Code (of which at least 12 months need to be using Version 10.5).
·         At least 36 months experience with component transaction servers (Middleware CTS).
·         At least 36 months experience with Sybase databases. This includes designing Tables, Triggers, Stored Procedures and writing SQL.
·         At least 60 months experience with gathering requirements and creating design documents.
