POSITION:
Position Role : Data Analyst with Equity and Fixed Income
Assignment Location : Pittsburgh, PA
Project Duration : 12+ months
REQUIREMENT:
Very strong understanding of Equity, Fixed Income and basic Derivative instruments used with the financial services. Deep understanding of Portfolio Management solutions, reference data, various industry standard reporting classifications. Data Mapping experience from upstream and downstream systems to Eagle Pace. Preffered familiarity with Bloomberg and Charles River OMS
Minimum of 6-10 years proven experience developing the skills required for the business analyst role Minimum of 6-10 years experience implementing Eagle PACE, Performance, or equivalent product.
Providing specifications to support Eagle, Informatica, Autosys, or equivalent technology is preferred. Past experience working with offshore-Onsite Model is preferred. This will include carrying out business process reviews and/ or production of business requirements Experience creating detailed cost / benefit analysis Able to demonstrate knowledge and use of structured business analysis techniques Experience creating detailed test plans and executing test cases Experience analyzing business or technical problems and proposing and implementing solutions Good Hands on experience on MS Word, Excel , Powerpoint Broad knowledge of systems and business processes in use for the relevant business areas General understanding of system architecture Strong ability to use SQL for analyzing data Broad knowledge of the systems and business processes in use for the Equity Investments function. Excellent verbal and written skills (to include process flowcharting and formal business solutions documents) Able to work in a global, multicultural environment Excellent analytical and problem solving skills Ability to manage conflict well Structured, disciplined approach to work, with attention to detail Good inter-personal skills combined with willingness to listen Ability to analyze requirements and problems and to propose innovative but workable solutions Flexible – able to meet changing requirements and priorities Enjoy challenging and thought provoking work and have a strong desire to learn and progress
