Position : Data Analyst

Location: Miami, FL

Must current Greenplum, SQL, Data analysis (2+)

 
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Work on two projects (One project will be meter data based and will aggregate millions of records across multiple tables. This will require testing and further analysis to validate the results against the requirements. The other project is a research pilot that will analyze the results of meter data VEE and interval based billing determinant generation);
• Analyze business processes and practices in an effort to focus the design & implementation of information technology solutions that meet customer needs and business initiatives;
• Act as liaison between the business unit functional area & IM, business case planning, helps prioritize business initiatives against technology costs;
• Resolve most questions & problems and refers only most complex issues to higher levels;
• Work with IT department to develop a reporting solution, document and test solution;
• Integrate solution with existing excel reporting MDM Pilot and research and document meter data anomalies.

 
Requirements:

• Experience with SQL for BI (Greenplum, SQL Server);
• Experience with Data analytics, Statistics;
• Experience Reporting (Crystal, MSBI);
• Experience of Data extraction and manipulation;
• Experience with Excel, Visio for technical processes;
• Experience with Utility around utility billing and meter data (preferred);
• Experience with Business process diagram design (preferred).
