Technical Operations Consultant:
The Connected Car Technical Operations service identifies the state of health of the Connected Car platforms and is focused on improving the overall quality of both the Gen 1.0 and Gen 2.0 Connected Car platforms. The technical operations consultant shall perform the following activities:
· Meetings
o Coordinate weekly meetings in which stakeholders update all items owned.
o Publish meeting minutes summaries and action items list.
· Tracking / Monitoring
o Track progress/health of the Blue Link systems through monthly reporting.
o Actively monitor all Blue Link Gen 1 tasks for updates, changes, or additions to the schedule.
o Provide analysis and metrics to allow the customer introspective into the health of the Blue Link system.
· Issue Management
o Lead and manage the resolution of Gen1 and Gen2 customer issues.
o Drive customer issues to closure by hosting Gen1 defect calls, manage Gen2 defect meetings, and follow-up with HMA business units for vendor engagement and review root cause analysis Reports.
o Create JIRA dashboards to track trends in Gen1 and Gen2 customer issues as well as ensure timely resolution to all customer and root cause issues.
o Follow up with stakeholders and drive QIRs assigned to Connected Vehicle Systems to closure with appropriate documentation.
o Participate in Incident/Outage meetings and/or calls and ensure impacted business units are engaged and provide required support.
o Efficient discovery and closure of system defects, issues and necessary changes.
o Product Change Request (PCR) documents
· Reporting
o Create weekly and monthly Gen1 and Gen2 Tech Ops reports.
o Conduct report analysis and provide recommendations for product and process improvement.
o Alert HMA team to any updates, changes, or additions to the schedule that affect HMA and shall require attention.
o Author and present weekly and monthly Gen1 and Gen2 Tech Ops reports.
o Reporting of defects, primarily through the weekly consulting team report.
o Create and present a recommendation and analysis report identifying opportunities for product and/or process improvement.
o Create and maintain Gen1 and Gen2 customer issue trend report through use of JIRA dashboards.
