1 + year contract – Austin, TX

 

Drupal experience is a must have. Drupal 7 is required. Drupal 8 is preferred. Looks like this is not captured correctly in experience requirements.

 

Is it possible to adjust the requirements? All other details looks good.

 

- Experience with Drupal

- Drupal 7 experience required. Drupal 8 experience preferred

- Module creation and development a plus

- Plugin development a plus

- Acquia experience even higher plus

Will participate in the design and implementation of web applications using cutting-edge web technologies and will also participate

in various software engineering projects using advanced development patterns and component-based architecture. Will actively collaborate with the team in ongoing product development, including design, development, review, integration, test, and deployment activities. Must have the ability to be self-directed and able to work with an extended, remote team to deliver products in a timely manner. Must be comfortable in a fast-paced development environment that continually embraces the latest technologies and techniques. Familiarity with C#, .NET framework, ASP.NET development, jQuery, JavaScript and JavaScript libraries is required. Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development, experience with a software development IDE such as Visual Studio is preferred but not required. Must have strong interpersonal, analytical, problem solving and organizational skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.

 

Skill Set and Experience: We need them to be versed in the following:

-              PHP development; full cycle

-              OO PHP programming a plus

-              Other programming languages are a plus, including: C#/Asp.Net, Java o Web services, SOAP or REST, and API knowledge is a plus

-              Linux, includes Shell programming

-              Apache o Knowledgeable in web server configuration and maintenance

-              MySql

-              Amazon AWS S4 or other vendor cloud knowledge is a plus

-              Web front end development experience

-              Familiarity with a Git repository is a plus

-              Modern Agile tools a plus, e.g. JIRA, Confluence, etc.

-              Experience with Drupal

-              Drupal 7 and 8 experience preferred o   Module creation and development a plus

-              Plugin development a plus

-              Acquia experience even higher plus
