Seeking a Java Developer will be responsible for aiding in the development of web services (SOAP) for their time-to-delivery functionality (i.e. providing an accurate answer for when a product will arrive to customer) based upon multiple dependencies such as product availability, location, location of customer, delivery time, etc.)

Grainger follows Agile Values and principles and uses the Scrum framework for Development and Support activities. Work is developed through business stories which are translated into design and development activities in 2 week time periods – a package referred to as a sprint. Resource partner will focus on developing the features and functionality that will deliver the business value.
Requirements:
• 1-3 yrs of J2EE Experience using an Ecommerce application framework.
• Strong cross-functional team player, ability to work effectively with Grainger technical and business contacts.
• Ability to strategically identify and meet business needs through the use of technology in a cost effective and timely manner.
• Working knowledge of Agile values and principles and Scrum framework.
• Working knowledge of Jira/Greenhopper/Bonfire
• Solid understanding of source control such as GITHUB source code/version management tool
• Working knowledge of Agile values and principles and Scrum framework
