JOB SUMMARY:

Overview

Prestigious Multi-National Banking Conglomerate is undergoing expansive IT/Business Transformation for All Business Operations and have recently decided to migrate all IT Operations to Holmdel NJ.

Bank is building a brand new Data Warehouse Operations COE affording those interested parties to be part of a Greenfield EDW Build and Implemtation.

Director of Data Management is spearheading enterprise Data migration and EDW Builder-a critical component shall focus on Data Quality-and there are immediate slots on his team for experienced Informatica IDQ Professional

The Role

The Informatica Data Quality Test Analyst will perform key data quality test activities required to deliver high-quality acquisition and transactional data with a special focus on large, complex data sets, data transformations, and transfer mechanisms.

Develop system integration test plans, design and author SQL test scripts and test sets that encompass valid and invalid data

Prepare test data, execute test scripts, document test results and analysis,

Defect identification and resolution

Data pfrofiling

Requires individual to perform specialized testing procedures on data warehouse and ETL processes using both automated and non-automated 

Requisite skills and experience

4-6 years demonstrable experience in a dedicated testing role; minimum of 3 years Data Warehouse/ETL and Data Quality informatica/teradata

IDQ

3+ years experience writing complex SQL scripts to accomplish data conversion/validation testing required; experience extracting data and performing external validation of business rule ETL IDQ developer transformation and violations required. Prior experience performing data profiling desired.

Expertise with all phases and stages of testing including functional, system, integration, data validation, performance, load, end-to-end, and regression testing.

Strong experience designing and developing modular manual and automation test procedures and test cases utilizing data driven, validation and verification techniques and strategies

3+ years direct hands-on experience with query editors, ETL and/or automation test tools; sql, HP-Mercury Quality Center and Functional Test/QTP preferred.

4+ years experience with TERADAT RDBMS iNFORMATCA/COGNOS and database scripting and tools required.
