Position: Sr. DevOps Engineer

Location: San Diego, CA

Duration: 6+ Months

Requisition Detail:-

"Linux Administrator experience"

• Must have 10+ years of experience
  
• Script language experience with Ruby, Bash, Powershell, Perl, JavaScript, or Python
  
• Experience with Java or .Net development
  
• Experience with automated deployment systems such as Chef, Puppet or Ansible
  
• Experience with version control systems such as Subversion and Git
  
• Experience with automated build systems such as Maven and buildr
  
• Experience with Continuous Integration systems such as Bamboo and Jenkins
  
• Able to adopt the right new tools for the job at hand and able to optimize learning for productivity.
  
• Ability to plan and effectively manage tasks to achieve objectives.
  
• Strong team player as well as an individual contributor.
  
• Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.
  
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  
• Must have strong organizational skills that demonstrate the ability to prioritize upon short notice while maintaining accuracy.

Responsibilities:-

• Collaborate with team members to implement deployment strategies for existing and new types of services
  
• Continuously seek performance improvements in the areas of continuous integration and deployment
  
• System troubleshooting and problem solving across platform and application domains 
  
• Produce estimates of approved work streams and tasks
  
• Maintain and improve the continuous integration build system
  
• Expand test automation, including performance and system tests
  
• Optimize performance of the build system
  
• Setup application environments for use by stakeholders
  
• Document operational procedures
  
• Maintain operational documents as a part of the Design History File
  
• Maintain technical skills and awareness of technical improvements
  
• Strive for continuous improvement
  
• Attend training annually or as required on protecting personal data
