Job Description:
- Serves as Siebel CRM application SME to work on data migration and deduplication efforts as well as identify/analyze and document requirements from internal customers, provide direction to the Siebel application development and Product support teams.
- Manage requirements for Siebel CRM enhancements through entire delivery lifecycle from solution definition to solution delivery. Possesses advanced Siebel technical and business knowledge and is trusted by management to identify and deal with high risk, high profile initiatives that may significantly impact internal and external customers.
- Must be able to translate technological options into business terms and interacts with management to create technology solutions to mission critical business problems.
- Complete knowledge of Siebel data model. Should know how to use Siebel tools for mapping references. Capable of writing complex SQL queries and procedures.
- Good experience in writing Siebel EIM jobs for Import, Update, Delete and Merge in Linux environment. Good experience of writing shell scripts and automation of jobs.
- Data migration experience of reasonable volume is preferred. Experience in data cleansing in Siebel will be an asset. Knowledge of JAVA will be an asset. Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work and collaborate effectively in a heavily matrixed, global environment and may lead ad hoc teams.
35% - Utilizing a thorough knowledge of the Siebel data model, along with the ability to use tools to look up custom data model changes, is able to define methods for data cleansing and deduplication. Prepare EIM jobs to Load/Delete/Merge data in a Linux environment. Read and write complex SQLs to identify data, define data cleanse processes, and to reverse engineer existing stored procedures.
25% - Utilizing a thorough working knowledge of Siebel Sales, Marketing, Service, Product and Pricing modules, is able to understand the complex business functionalities implemented in Siebel and assist business owners to optimize their process flow to improve productivity, and to ensure data quality is maintained.
- Prepare and attend business requirements and high level design reviews.
- Understand technology stack, offerings, capabilities and Integrations with external systems quickly to effectively use in design discussions
- Ability to setup a quick Proof of concept within Siebel to demonstrate the capabilities to business owners
- Create functional specifications based on high level requirements and design to assist the developers and testers
- Create detailed test plans with help from Business and execute with help from QC testing team
Knowledge in the following area is a plus:
· Sales/Service/Product and Pricing Analytics (OBIEE reports)
· A high level understanding of Siebel integration with Financial systems will be a bonus
· Data Quality and data cleanup on large projects
· Data mapping between Siebel and other internal systems
15% - Service Quality Management – provide a consistent communication channel and develop trusted relationships with internal customers. Ensure customers have a clear and unambiguous expectation of the level of service to be delivered. Provide measurable service targets and the information needed to ensure those targets are met.
15% - Planning and Alignment – partner with business leaders and their teams to create, understand, and implement strategic and tactical business objectives that leverage and integrate IT architecture, infrastructure, and application development of new and existing technologies to achieve business objectives. Review and prioritize new JIRA tickets for bugs and enhancements. Review status of JIRA tickets for current and next sprint and discuss next steps with development team.
10% - Work with business leaders to understand key issues and gaps. Drive the closure of these gaps with the development teams, by escalating to senior management or collaborating with other teams to resolve blocking issues. Work collaboratively to resolve application issues.
